Glen Iris Project Team Community Update

We are continuing our work on the management of the lakes at Glen Iris this week, with our environmental consultants and contractors continuing the work on the gradual draining of the lakes across the property.

As we have previously advised, we are undertaking this work to ensure these unfenced water bodies do not pose a community drowning risk and do not become mosquito breeding grounds in warmer months. They are being drained under the guidance of our environmental consultants and it will result in a gradual lowering of the water levels. Our consultant and licenced relocation contractor will regularly visit and check for aquatic fauna in the lakes and safely re-home them to approved habitat locations as required.
