Glen Iris Project Team Community Update

Contractors from NEWest Alliance will be at the Glen Iris Estate site tomorrow (28th August 2020) as part of the State Government’s METRONET project.

They will be carrying out geotechnical investigations to support detailed project design for the Thornlie-Cockburn Link between 7am and 5pm.

The Thornlie-Cockburn Link will close a 14.5km gap in the eastern rail corridor by linking communities between the Mandurah and Armadale lines.

Stations will be built at Ranford Road and Nicholson Road in Canning Vale, and significant upgrades made to both Thornlie and Cockburn Central stations.
